How do I create my first pay stub?
Tap Create Pay Stub, then fill in three things: who pays (the business), who gets paid (the worker — that can be you), and the pay itself. PayProof does the math and shows a live summary as you type. Tap Generate when you're done.
Where do the tax percentages come from?
Social Security (6.2%) and Medicare (1.45%) are fixed federal rates. Federal and state withholding are pre-filled with reasonable estimates — every percentage is editable. If you have an old pay stub, copying its percentages gives the most accurate result.
Why does my PDF say PREVIEW on it?
Previewing is free. Exporting a clean, watermark-free PDF requires PayProof Pro — weekly (with a 3-day free trial), yearly, or a one-time lifetime purchase.
How do I generate several pay periods at once?
In the form, increase Pay stubs to generate. PayProof creates consecutive periods ending on the date you chose, and the year-to-date totals accumulate automatically across them.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple: open Settings > your name > Subscriptions on your iPhone, select PayProof Pro and tap Cancel. You keep access until the end of the paid period.
I paid but exports are still watermarked
Open the paywall and tap Restore Purchases. If that doesn't fix it, make sure you're signed into the same Apple Account that made the purchase, then contact us.
