Privacy Policy
Effective July 6, 2026
The short version: PayProof collects no data. Everything you type stays on your device. There is no account, no server, no analytics, no tracking.
Data we collect
None. PayProof has no backend and sends nothing over the network. The pay stub details you enter — business names, addresses, pay amounts — are stored only in the app's local database on your device.
Where your documents live
Pay stubs and the PDF files you export are created and stored locally. They are included in your normal device backup (iCloud or computer backup managed by Apple), like any other app data. If you delete the app, its local data is deleted with it.
Purchases
Subscriptions and one-time purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. PayProof never sees your payment details. Apple's handling of that data is described in Apple's Privacy Policy.
Analytics and tracking
PayProof contains no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK and no third-party code that communicates with the outside world. We do not track you, profile you, or share anything with anyone — there is nothing to share.
Children
PayProof is a business document tool and is not directed at children under 13. Since no data is collected, no children's data can be collected either.
Changes to this policy
If a future version of PayProof ever changes how data is handled (for example, adding optional iCloud sync), this policy will be updated before that version ships, and the change will be clearly described.
