Privacy Policy

GarageKeep is a vehicle maintenance log for cars, motorcycles and more. We built it so your records stay yours: no account, no ads, no tracking. Your maintenance history lives on your device.

What we collect

Nothing. GarageKeep has no analytics, no advertising SDKs and no third-party services. We never see your vehicles, your service records, your receipts or anything else you enter in the app.

Where your data lives

Vehicles, service records, photos and reminders are stored locally on your iPhone. If you are signed into iCloud, GarageKeep syncs this data through your own private iCloud (CloudKit) database so it follows you across your devices. That data is governed by your Apple ID and Apple's privacy terms; we have no access to it.

Photos

Photos of receipts and services that you attach to a record are stored inside the app's private database at full resolution. GarageKeep only accesses the photos you explicitly pick; it never scans your photo library.

Notifications

Maintenance reminders use local notifications scheduled on your device. Nothing is sent to any server.

Exporting your data

You can export all your records as a CSV file at any time from Settings — for free. Your maintenance history is never held hostage.

Purchases

GarageKeep Pro is sold through Apple's App Store (a one-time Lifetime purchase or an annual subscription). Payment is handled entirely by Apple; we never see your payment details.

Data deletion

Delete any record or vehicle by swiping it, or remove everything by deleting the app. If iCloud sync is on, you can also clear GarageKeep data from Settings > Apple ID > iCloud > Manage Storage.

Children

GarageKeep does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children.

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
