Interpretation & Definitions
Interpretation
The words whose initial letters are capitalized have meanings defined below. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.
Definitions
- Application refers to BP Visit Log, the iOS software program.
- Device means any device that can access the Service, such as a smartphone or digital tablet.

Data We Collect
Health and Log Data
The core functionality of BP Visit Log is to let You record and review blood pressure readings and related notes. Depending on how You use the Service, this may include values such as systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, pulse, timestamps, notes, tags, and reminder preferences.
This information may be considered health-related data. You should enter only information You are comfortable storing in the Application.
Optional Account Data
Creating an account may be optional or unavailable in some versions of the Service. If You choose to create or use an account feature in the future, We may collect basic account information such as Your email address for backup, synchronization, or support purposes.
Usage Data
Usage Data may be collected automatically when using the Service. It may include information such as Your Device’s IP address, device model, operating system version, app version, language, timestamps, feature interactions, crash diagnostics, and other technical data needed to maintain and improve the Service.
Purchase Data
BP Visit Log may offer in-app purchases or subscriptions. All financial transactions are processed exclusively through Apple’s App Store. We do not collect, store, or have access to Your payment card information. Billing is governed by Apple’s own Privacy Policy and Terms.
HealthKit and Device Permissions
If BP Visit Log requests access to device permissions such as notifications, camera, photo library, or Apple Health integrations in the future, those permissions will be requested only when relevant to a feature You choose to use. Access is optional and can generally be managed in Your device settings.

How We Use Your Data
We use the data We collect solely for the following purposes:
- To provide and maintain the Service, including saving readings, displaying trends, managing reminders, and supporting exports.
- To manage Your account or backup features, if such features are available and You choose to use them.
- To perform our contract, including honoring purchases or subscriptions made through the App Store.
- To contact You, when You contact support or when service-related communication is necessary.
- To improve the Service, including understanding how features are used in aggregate and diagnosing technical problems.

Sharing Your Data
Limited Sharing
We share data only in the following limited situations:
- Apple App Store: Purchase and device-related information is handled by Apple as part of the App Store infrastructure.
- Service Providers: We may use third-party tools for infrastructure, analytics, diagnostics, subscriptions, hosting, backup, or customer support when necessary to operate the Service.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or in response to valid legal requests.
- Business transfers: If the Service is sold, transferred, or merged, data may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.

Data Retention
We retain Personal Data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
- Readings and notes stored locally: if You use the Service without an account or cloud backup, Your log history may be stored locally on Your device until You delete it, delete the Application, or reset Your device.
- Backup or account data: if cloud backup or account features are used, data may be retained for as long as Your account remains active, and for a limited period afterward to address support, legal, or technical issues.
- Usage data: may be retained for a limited period for analytics, diagnostics, and service improvement.
- Purchase records: Apple maintains transaction records according to its own policies; We may retain limited subscription status information where needed to support premium access.
When retention is no longer necessary, data will be deleted, anonymized, or otherwise handled in accordance with applicable law.

International Transfers
BP Visit Log may rely on third-party service providers that process data in countries other than Your own, including the United States or other jurisdictions where their infrastructure is located.
Where required by applicable law, reasonable safeguards will be used for international transfers of Personal Data.

Depending on Your location, You may have rights regarding access to, correction of, deletion of, or restriction of processing of Your Personal Data.
- You may delete readings and notes directly within the Application where that functionality is available.
- If You use only local storage, removing the Application from Your device may delete locally stored data.
- If backup or account features are available and You use them, You may request deletion of associated Personal Data by contacting Us.
- You may also contact Us to request information about the data associated with You, subject to verification and applicable law.

The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13, and Personal Data is not knowingly collected from children under 13. If You are a parent or guardian and believe that a child has provided Personal Data, please contact Us so appropriate steps can be taken.
